This adapter came from the necessity to connect two mono outputs (left and right) from a mixer to a xlr male connector in a 10ft snake.

The idea is to built something like this: http://www.thomann.de/es/prod_bdb_AR_118506.html, but with a female connector

1 to 2 2  Ground
