Pin Number Description
1  Left Speaker
2  Right Speaker
3  Ground
4  Microphone

Looks the same as apple iPhone, and different to LG, Motorola, Nokia, Palm or SonyEricsson phones.

Button wiring to be confirmed.

The HTC HD2 Headphones are the sames as on the Hero and Nexus One. The wiring is correct but the button out is not Mesurable by an Ohmmeter while the is no signal.
The Middle Button is the same as on Apples iPhone Headphones but the outer buttons are incompatible and the Apple mic does not work on HTC Phones.
